User Manual
Everything you need to get the most out of Renma. Updated May 2026.
Overview
Renma is a fleet management platform built for Turo and Getaround hosts. It replaces spreadsheets by giving every vehicle its own income history, expense log, maintenance record, and profit dashboard — all in one place.
The Dashboard is your home base: live active trips, this-month revenue (confirmed + pending), recent transactions, open tasks, and upcoming trips — all at a glance.
Use the sidebar to navigate between sections. On mobile, the sidebar opens via the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
Fleet
Adding a vehicle manually: Fleet → + Add Vehicle → fill in name, year, VIN (auto-decodes make/model/year via NHTSA), license plate, mileage, platform, color, registration expiry, oil change interval, monthly depreciation, and any tracking notes.
Uploading a vehicle photo: Click the photo area on any vehicle card to upload and crop a photo directly.
Editing a vehicle: Click the pencil icon on any card — the edit modal opens pre-populated with all current values.
Vehicle status updates automatically: Available when no active trips cover today; Rented when an active trip is in progress; Maintenance when manually set.
Archiving: Archive a vehicle to remove it from active views without deleting its history. Archived vehicles don't appear in trip/finance lists.
Calendar & Trips
The Calendar section has two views (month and week) plus a dedicated Trips page in the sidebar:
How revenue is attributed: Renma splits revenue by the day. If a trip runs across months, each month only gets the days that fall in it. Formula: daily rate = total payout ÷ trip length. Example — a $600 rental from April 28–May 7 (10 days) shows $120 in April and $480 in May. Tap ⓘ How amounts are calculated on any page to confirm.
Adding a trip manually: + Add Trip → vehicle, renter name/phone/email, platform, start date, end date, daily rate, total payout, status, notes.
Turo CSV import: Turo CSV button → upload the trip_earnings_export_*.csv from Turo → Earnings → Export CSV. Renma creates missing vehicles, imports all trips, and creates income transactions for completed ones. Safe to re-upload — no duplicates.
Turo Auto Sync
Once connected, every Turo booking, modification, cancellation, and payout appears in your Renma dashboard automatically — no uploads, no manual entry.
Unmatched trips: When a synced trip can't match to a vehicle (new listing, VIN mismatch), an amber banner appears on the Dashboard. Click it to manually assign — Renma learns the listing ID and matches automatically from then on.
Cash Calendar
Cash Calendar is unique to Renma — a daily revenue heat map across your entire fleet. Each day shows its pro-rated share of all active trips: daily amount = total payout ÷ trip length. Multi-month trips are automatically spread across every day they cover.
Deeper green = more income that day. The monthly total sums every active day in the displayed month — not just trips that started that month. Navigate months with the arrows to compare periods.
Leaderboard
Leaderboard ranks all your vehicles by net profit, revenue, trip count, or expenses. Instantly see which cars are your best performers and which are costing more than they earn.
Confirmed vs Pending: Confirmed revenue comes from income transactions (Turo has paid). Pending comes from active trips not yet paid out. Both columns appear in the leaderboard.
Date range: Filter by This Month, Last 30d, Last 90d, This Year, or All Time. Rankings update instantly.
Guests
The Guests page shows all renters across your fleet in one searchable view, sorted by most recently booked. It's built automatically from your trip data — no manual setup needed.
Each guest card shows: avatar, name, phone/email (if captured), all vehicles rented, total trips, total days, and total earned. Click any card to expand it and see the full trip history — dates, times, platform, amounts, and status.
Searching: Type any part of a guest's name in the search box to filter instantly.
Partners
If you co-own vehicles with a partner, the Partners section tracks each partner's share of your revenue automatically.
Each partner profile shows their total share owed based on actual income transactions, broken down by vehicle.
Tasks & Assignments
Tasks let you manage operational to-dos tied to specific vehicles or trips — pre-trip cleanups, post-trip inspections, service reminders, anything your operation needs.
Open tasks linked to active trips appear on the Dashboard for quick visibility. Mark tasks complete directly in the Assignments list.
Maintenance
Log every repair, scheduled service, and damage incident across your fleet. Maintenance costs flow into your expense tracking automatically.
Each log includes: vehicle, title, description, cost, status (pending / in progress / completed), vendor, scheduled date, completed date, and optional photo.
Printing: Any maintenance record can be printed as a clean service record with one click — useful for insurance claims or vehicle sales.
Finances
The Finances page shows every income and expense transaction across your fleet. This is where your actual profit lives — not just trip data, but every dollar in and out.
Adding transactions:
Printing receipts: Click Print on any transaction to generate a formatted receipt — includes guest name, trip start/end dates (with times when available), and vehicle info. Perfect for tax records.
Pending vs Confirmed: Completed trips create income transactions (confirmed). Active trips show as pending revenue on the Dashboard but don't appear in Finances until they complete and pay out.
Reports
Reports give you a clean summary of income, expenses, and net profit — filterable by date range and vehicle.
Messages & Support
The Messages section is your direct line to Renma — AI assistant for instant answers, and a human support team for anything more complex.
AI Assistant (✦ Renma Assistant): Available 24/7. Ask anything about features, workflows, or how to do something. Replies in seconds.
Human support: Complex questions, billing issues, bugs, or anything the AI escalates goes directly to our support team. We follow up via the same message thread.

💡 Submit an Idea: Send a feature request — many of the features you see today came from user submissions. We review requests monthly and prioritize what helps the most hosts.
Attachments: Attach screenshots or files (up to 5 MB) to any message for faster support.
Our support team typically responds within a few hours.
Billing
Plans:
- Monthly: $33.33/month (~$1.09/day)
- Annual: $340/year ($28.33/month equivalent — save 15%)
All features are included in both plans — unlimited vehicles, all reports, exports, maintenance, auto sync, AI support, live support. No per-vehicle fees.
Managing billing: Click your plan card in the sidebar → Manage Billing → opens the Stripe billing portal where you can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel.
Payment failure: If a payment fails, your access is temporarily paused. A "Payment failed" screen appears with a direct link to update your payment method. Access is restored automatically once payment succeeds.
Cancellation: Cancel anytime from the billing portal. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
